Willow Rivers is as far from a typical classical music artist as you can get. An ordinary soul, Willow started tinkering on the piano aged two and it was clear from then that music was her first language. The life events that followed,

often difficult and testing, led to music being the glue that has held her together. 

​

Willow was awarded a place at Cambridge University to study Music but unfortunately had to leave after her second year due to severe depression and anxiety. Having endured abuse, homelessness and overcome addiction, when you listen to one of Willows pieces, you can feel all of her life experiences coming through her beautiful melodies.

Over the years, Willow has had the privilege of playing a number of prestigious venues around the country and composed for several orchestras. Willow released her debut EP "Becoming" in April 2017, and it soared to number #3 in the iTunes classical charts. "WILD" had its premiere in May 2018 and has received similar success. Giving birth to her first child in 2018, Willow is embracing this new adventure while also preparing for the release of her new EP "DIVINE".
